On 9th September, Huayue Nickel & Cobalt (Indonesia) Sdn Bhd passed the audit and obtained the Gold (highest level) SMK3 Occupational Safety and Health Certificate issued by the Ministry of Labour of Indonesia, becoming the first enterprise among more than 50 enterprises in IMIP Park to obtain this certification.

In December 2022, at the celebration of Huayou Cobalt's 20th anniversary, Chairman Chen Xuehua unveiled and donated CNY 50 million to establish the Huayou Common Prosperity Charity Fund.
