The festivities took shape on June 1st through the dazzling "Love in Huayou, Building a Future Dream" employee-parent evening gala held on the 8th floor of the R&D building. The hall was transformed into a boundless expanse of joy, resonating with song, dance, and recitals. A gathering of over 130 children, alongside their parents, marked a delightful night spent alongside the likes of "Snow White" and "Spiderman."

The event's commencement was marked by a succession of children gracing the stage with their performances. These showcases ranged from presentations embodying classical beauty with flushed cheeks, to grand renditions of the song "Treading the Mountains and Rivers," and endearing portrayals of voracious little pigs. Traditional musical instruments like the guzheng and xun flute also made their presence felt. These young talents exuded confidence as they captivated the audience, their prowess immortalized by parents' cameras and punctuated by resounding applause.

Subsequent game segments, cleverly intertwined, such as "Crab Dribbling," "Pass and Catch," "Ball Between Two," and "Bowling," witnessed the seamless coordination between children and their parents, igniting fervent rounds of applause. Fearlessly embracing challenges and pouring their utmost efforts, the children demonstrated their courage while their interaction with their parents enriched the event's ambiance. During these segments, entertaining challenges centered around educational themes such as waste sorting and identifying safety hazards added an educational dimension, further amplifying the children's comprehension of waste classification and safety consciousness.

Management Center of Quzhou Park

On the morning of May 26th, Huayou Quzhou Industrial Park Labor Union Chairman Lu Ximing and his team visited Baisha Elementary School for a compassionate donation event. They distributed 200 sets of children's study stationery, educational toys, and other essential supplies to the students. Additionally, they actively participated in the school's "Children's Play Festival," offering students early holiday gifts and heartfelt well-wishes.

On the morning of May 27th, an enriching parent-child educational activity titled "Striving in the New Era, Nurturing Future Hearts" took place in the banquet hall on the fourth floor of Huayou Quzhou Industrial Park. A total of 50 families enthusiastically took part in the event.

Africa Resources Industry Group

As Children's Day approached, representatives from CDM once again visited the Rukuni Orphanage, generously donating a significant quantity of food, educational supplies, and other necessities.

Marguerite KAFIMI, a nun and the head of the orphanage, warmly commended CDM Company's philanthropic gesture, stating, "On this occasion, we express gratitude to the government for their efforts on behalf of these children, and to CDM for their timely material support." 

Augustin and Manassé, two children residing at the orphanage, took turns delivering brief speeches to express their gratitude for CDM's kindness and generosity. Later that afternoon, representatives from CDM also visited two schools in the Kashimabala and Kasapa communities, generously donating food and educational supplies.

Guangxi Huayou

On the occasion of Children's Day, Guangxi Huayou embarked on visits to several village-level primary schools located around the lithium battery project area. These schools included Tanlian Village in Songwang Town, Baiping Village, Bangjie Village, Zeng Village in Shuangwang Town, and Shuangwang Town Central Primary School. During these visits, the company generously presented schoolbags, pencils, and other learning supplies as thoughtful gifts for the children to celebrate Children's Day.

On the morning of May 31st, accompanied by Lin Fayong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shuangwang Town, and Li Changchun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Songwang Town, representatives from Huayou carried a bundle of Children's Day gifts and made their rounds to each primary school situated near the lithium battery project area. Through their heartwarming gifts and kind wishes, they conveyed sincere emotions and compassion, solidifying their care through practical actions.

Amidst the donation ceremony, Huang Kongsen, Vice President of Huayou Holding Group, offered valuable advice to the children. He encouraged them to nurture lofty ideals from a young age, cultivate strong moral character, dedicate themselves to diligent studies, strive for daily improvement, and contribute to their hometown. By working together, they can collectively build a vibrant community around the lithium battery project.
