Recently, the 2024 National Private Enterprise Green Development Conference was held in Baoding, Hebei Province. At the conference, the "2024 National Private Enterprises' Typical Cases of Green and Low-Carbon Development" was released, and Chengdu B&M, a subsidiary of Huayou Cobalt, was selected as a case study based on its advanced experience and achievements in green and low-carbon development.

Founded nine years ago, Chengdu B&M has been committed to industry and has been marching towards the goal of "becoming a global leader in new energy lithium-ion materials". Led by the new development concept in the new era, Chengdu Base actively explores the new path of green development, taking scientific and technological innovation as the core driving force, and opens the way for the green and low-carbon transformation of the industry through breakthroughs in technological innovation.

Strengthen technological innovation to create a "green" production system

Through innovation-driven green and low-carbon development mode, Chengdu Base has broken through technical difficulties, implemented a large number of energy-saving, emission reduction and technological transformation projects, and won many honours, such as "Zero-Carbon Factory" and "National Green Factory".


Focusing on new energy industry and creating "green" industrial clusters

Adhering to the energy-saving and low-carbon policy, the Chengdu base actively adopts advanced production processes and highly efficient energy-saving equipment, which reduces raw material loss and energy consumption while effectively improving equipment stability, production efficiency and product yield, and realises green, low-carbon and high-quality development.


Promote digital transformation and create a new mode of "green" development

 

Chengdu Base has built an intelligent manufacturing demonstration plant for high-end lithium battery cathode materials, using digital twin and data-driven technology to construct a three-dimensional simulation model at the factory-workshop-production line equipment level. A new model of green and low-carbon development with the comprehensive utilisation of resources as a bond and symbiosis.


Looking ahead, Chengdu Base will continue to take the initiative and take the lead, act as a leader in green development and a pathfinder for industrial upgrading, unswervingly implement the innovation-driven development strategy, focus on the two major areas of "new energy, green and low-carbon", and promote the green development of the industry with high standards to help the national "dual-carbon" goal and the "low-carbon" goal.
