On 13th September, the opening ceremony of the 2nd Tripartite Metallurgical Engineering Master's Degree Course of Huayu Cobalt Industry, Indonesia's Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment Coordination and Northeastern University was held in Northeastern University. Professor Satryo, Special Advisor of Indonesia's Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment Coordination, Dwi, Director General of Indonesia Education Foundation, Tang Lixin, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Vice President of Northeastern University, Li Qian, General Manager of Human Resource Centre of Huayou Cobalt, and other leaders from School of International Education, School of Metallurgy, Graduate School, and Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of Northeastern University were present at the ceremony.

Recently, the "2024 Global New Energy Enterprise Top 500" was released. Huayou Cobalt ranked 31st on the list thanks to its profound accumulation in the new energy industry and outstanding capabilities in research and development and production levels.

On 9th September, Huayue Nickel & Cobalt (Indonesia) Sdn Bhd passed the audit and obtained the Gold (highest level) SMK3 Occupational Safety and Health Certificate issued by the Ministry of Labour of Indonesia, becoming the first enterprise among more than 50 enterprises in IMIP Park to obtain this certification.

In December 2022, at the celebration of Huayou Cobalt's 20th anniversary, Chairman Chen Xuehua unveiled and donated CNY 50 million to establish the Huayou Common Prosperity Charity Fund. The fund will be used for strengthening enterprises and revitalizing villages as well as continuing education and science popularization activities. It also set a new record in Tongxiang history for one-time charitable donations. In terms of education assistance in 2023, relying on the common prosperity fund, it distributed Huayou Dream Scholarships worth CNY 560,000 to 51 high school students from Tongxiang who were admitted by top nine universities across China. It also distributed "Huayou Chongxue Awards" worth CNY 382,600 to 408 primary and secondary school students in the development zone (Gaohua Street).

On 11th September, China Enterprise Confederation (CEC) and China Entrepreneurs Association (CEA) released “2024 Top 500 Chinese Enterprises”. Huayou Cobalt with 2023 annual business income of CNY 66.304 billion, ranked 363rd. It is reported that this year's list entry threshold is CNY 47.381 billion, CNY 383 million higher than the previous year. The revenue scale of Top 500 enterprises reached a new level, achieving a total revenue of 110.07 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.58% over the previous year. At the same time, the release of the “2024 China's top 100 multinational corporations” list, Huayou ranked 45th, a jump of 11 places compared with last year, and in “2024 China's top 100 strategic emerging industries leading enterprises” list, Huayou ranked 61th.

Recently, 709 listed companies in Zhejiang released their first half-year results. on August 31, Zheshang Magazine released the 2024 first half of Zhejiang's top 100 list of listed companies in terms of revenue and top 100 list of net profit. Huayou Cobalt ranked 14th and 16th on the list with total revenue of 30.050 billion yuan and net profit of 1.671 billion yuan.
