On June 24th, the 2023 National Science and Technology Awards were announced, and two scientific research achievements led by the Institute of Process Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and participated by Huayou - "Development of new equipment for lithium precursor reaction crystallization and intelligent manufacturing of high-end cathode materials", "Efficient and low-carbon treatment technology and application of lithium solid waste with whole-process optimization" won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress in 2023, marking that Huayou's innovations in the fields of green refining of non-ferrous metals, lithium materials development, and resource recycling and regeneration utilization climbed to a new peak again, and highlighting Huayou's leading position in the technological innovation and sustainable development of new energy materials. On June 21, the Hungary high-nickel ternary cathode materials green intellectual manufacturing project ushered in an important node - the main cathode main plant carried out the first lifting work of the main frame, and the lifting of the two main frame columns was completed in position, marking that the construction of the main plant was transferred from the foundation project to the superstructure project, formally opening a new chapter of the main plant construction. The construction progress of the project has taken a solid step forward.
